The Tholos in the sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, c.380 BC, is one of the most enigmatic in the study of buildings in antiquity. It is the work of Theodorus from Phocaea in Asia Minor. Below the ancient site is the Pleistos River gorge, the natural boundary between Parnassos, behind the camera, and the Kirphys mountains opposite.
