This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

Red kite (Milvus milvus) in flight. This rare bird of prey is 61-72 centimetres in length with a wingspan of 69-79 centimetres. Is is found throughout the western Paleractic region. The red kite has been successfully reintroduced to The Chilterns and is now becomming a more common sight in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, in the UK. Photographed in November, at Chiltern Hills, in Oxfordshire, UK.
