This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Acropolis and temples, illustration. This ancient citadel was built in the 5th century BC in Athens in Greece. The large temple at top (inset at upper right) is the Parthenon (447-438 BC), dedicated to the Ancient Greek goddess of wisdom, Athena. A statue of Athena Promachos is at centre. At the top of the stairs at lower right is the monumental gateway, the Propylaea. At upper left is the Erechtheion (inset at lower left), a temple to Athena and Poseidon. At lower right is a small temple to Athena Nike. At centre right is the Sanctuary of Artemis Brauronia. At centre left is the Arrephorion. Behind the Parthenon are smaller temples, the Sanctuary of Zeus Polieus (left) and the Sanctuary of Pandion (right).
